10th NATIONAL HISTORIC MACHINERY RALLY

This time the National Rally goes to Naracoorte in South Australia for this bi-annual event - and did they turn it on!

Set at the Naracoorte Gallops track, there was a sea of engines and plenty of tractors too.

See these really big stationary engines ... they are huge - one with a sea mine as a silencer.

In the tractor area, we find some rare tractors, only one in Australia like the DLD 2, but when it comes to re-powering tractors you have seen nothing like what has happened here.

See the Chamberlain re-powered, the Fordson re-powered, but this one with the fuel drums on the front is nothing like has ever been seen before.  This is huge.

Other tractors of note is the Bob Chamberlain built Lightweight of 1959 and the McDonald SD.

There are also articles on steam, the Wash House, dozers in the dirt and more.

There is heaps to see on this program.  Another great National Rally.
