ORFORD

This program takes us to the Western District of Victoria to the oval of a town that is almost gone and forgotten.   But those who are still there, have put this rally together and what a rally it is.  See many a rare engine on this one, from a Felix to a Crossley gas engine.

There's tractor pulling too with tractors like Massey Harris Pacemaker, Chamberlain 9G, Fordson Major, Fowler VF, and a little crawler, the Aveling-Barford Calfdozer, to name just a few that are on this program.

For the first time, see engines and generator sets operating at night.

See the shearing competition, many happy faces and the Morris Minor car, and the various configurations that it was built in.

Although this program is orientated to the enthusiast of stationary engines and tractors, there are moments on this program to interest everyone.

There's also a look at four oil engines in the range of Ronaldson Bros and Tippett, from 8Hp to 3 Hp.  Other engines of note are the Owens engines that were manufactured at Warrnambool and another rare engine, a McDonald Diesel with a cartridge start, and you see one of the original cartridges on this program.

All this and more is on this program, set amongst the bush on the Orford oval.  There is lots to see and this program is sure to e one that you will want to see time and time again - it is definitely one for your library.
