Vintage Motorsport Weekend

In an age of supercar racing, it is now a rare opportunity to see the cars of the 1920's get out and do what they did best, with lots of fun.

Well thanks to two enthusiasts, vintage motor sport is now alive and well in the town of Camperdown. in Victoria.  With the backing of the local  community and the police who got behind this event that take place over the Melbourne Cup weekend, the event has something for every enthusiast who has a passion for these cars of yester year.

Over three days, you get to see the stuff these cars are made of following the trials established by the RACV many years ago.

You will see them in Motakana events, accelerating and braking test.  Not enough you say, then you about the quarter mile sprint .. along one of the main streets in the town.  ... still not enough?  Well how about the road run. ... IN the streets of the town. and the speed that one car was going was it really a right hand drive vehicle.

Then on the last day, it is the hill climb .. Yep, put the peddle down and charge up Mt Leura as fast as you can.

Vintage Motor sport Weekend is action packed and the e majority of the footage in this program is on the move, the cars are not idle for long!

Grab a coffee, grab a comfy chair, this program is going to keep you entertained.
