WAIKATO RALLY

This program takes us to the North Island of New Zealand.  First we have a look at the Military Museum which is excellent and then onto the geothermal field before we go onto the rally.

Although the weather turned against us, the items that were here were superb.  This program captures these rare items.

There are among others, the Massey Harris GP, the Rushton, Avery, Samson Sieve Grip.  There are so many tractors that came to New Zealand that did not come to Australia.

How about this little face shovel, the Bay City which is a marvellous machine and has so much history in New Zealand.

Then the rains came and the fun began, trying to get out of this paddock ... what a sight when you see what they had they have to do to get this low loader out.  This drew a crowd.

It's all good fun in the mud, and then as a bonus, a quick look at a huge super scavenge engine, and finally, a very interesting and well presented Timber Museum.

There is plenty to see on this program.   You will enjoy seeing these machines working in the mud.
