TRACTORS GALORE AT ALLORA

One thing you can say about Queensland rally's are that they truly do it in style.  And this one certainly had tractors .. and many of them.

Their feature this year was Minneapolis Moline and so there are many here to look at.  But many other old ones came along too.  Ones like Hart Parr Oliver, the Fowler crawlers, Internationals, etc.

Now for tractor parades, they don't get much bigger or better than this one!  And not all the tractors came out for it!!  Then they add the farm machinery, the cars and trucks and when all these lined up out on the oval, it was a sight to see indeed.

And the parade of harvesters through the ages, from the box stripper to the modern day harvester just shows how far farming has come in such a short period of time.

Apart from the tractors, we take a look at the latest completion in this Mack truck collection - "SLY DOG", who lines up with TOP DOG, OLD DOG, and BIG DOG and you see them all here on the oval, but for a close-up of the others, you get all this on the Commercial Vehicles program.

While there is a line up on the oval of these trucks, we look at some of the other trucks that are done so well and note the oil can on this truck.  Common in their day but you don't see many of these cans today.

Another items of interest is the electric fences display.  Something that could "give you a tickle".  Amazing that there are so many different varieties.

There's heaps to see and enjoy on this program.
